Ammonia volatilization from mineral fertilisers. Plant nutrition studies 2
Soil scientists from Ghent University (Belgium) have examined the potential ammonia volatilization from ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulphate, urea and urea ammonium nitrate solutions under field conditions. In this new edition of the popular study they describe the results and backgrounds of their research and advise on the fertiliser choice for different soil characteristics. Ammonia volatilization from mineral fertilisers has earlier been published in a Dutch version.
Publication date: May 2009.

Magnesium protects flowers from fading. Plant nutrition studies 3
Magnesium protects several cut flower species against fading at summery temperatures. This plant nutrient delays the breakdown of temperature sensitive plant pigments, so that they remain intact even at temperatures well in the twenties. The study Magnesium protects flowers from fading treats this finding of Israeli plant scientists against the background of magnesium nutrition. Magnesium protects flowers from fading has earlier been published in a Dutch version.
Expected publication date: July 2009.
