• Desk study on calcium products (partially ongoing). Results: articles and a report for a company.
• Desk studies on the nutrition of fodder crops. Main results: reference works for companies.
• Desk research on sulphur in plant nutrition. Main result: articles for Dutch magazines.
Humic substances
A short-term study on the possible advantages and disadvantages of humic substances in the nutrition of tree nursery crops, which resulted in a short paper for a tree nursery .
Organic fertilisers
Desk research on organic fertilisers, plant activators and crop protection products. The outcomes of the study are published in the form of a series of in-depth articles in Dutch magazines.
Green manure and catch crops
Literature search on green manure and catch crops. The project resulted in a report on the use of green manure on tree nurseries, publications in arable and horticulture trade journals, and a green manure guide for a seed company.
Ornamental plant
Desk research on the growth of a visual attractive ornamental plant with emphasis on the protection of fungal diseases. The project resulted in a practical culture guide for a leading tree nursery.
